Интересуюсь играми, музыкой, людьми и тем как устроен мир. Читаю книги, слушаю подкасты, смотрю youtube. Почти всё на английском. Немного зануда.

Currently, I'm trying to transition into a career in game development.

For the last 10 or so years, I was able to earn living by doing remote work which allowed our family to escape winters in warm countries like Thailand, Cyprus, US(Florida).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being introvert my entire life I've missed on too many opportunities to get to know other people.
Perhaps it's time to start catching up.

I barely understand why this whole thing works and I'm doing it to push myself out of my comfort zone. Hopefully by not too much.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite media is games. I'm interested in anything gaming related, although I don't play that many games myself anymore. I have a thing for board games and indie-games. It's hard to label particular games as favorites since too many of them are cool and make me happy by the fact that they exist.

My music preferences distribution looks like 60% Metal/30% Classical/10% Other

Books: The Glass Bead Game (Hesse), The Brothers Karamazov (Dostoevsky), Thinking Fast and Slow (Kahneman) and Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (Yudkowsky)

Movies I don't enjoy as much. Of course, Guardians of the Galaxy is a cool movie and great fun but more often I find myself interested in something less spectacular and closer to real-life like french "Mon Roi" or documentary "Jiro dreams of sushi".
