About Me
Hi! I’m Denys, 23.
I’m from Ukraine and currently living in Moldova. I’m an easygoing, friendly person who enjoys meeting people from different cultures and sharing everyday moments — good food, good stories, and a relaxed vibe. I like keeping life balanced: sometimes I’m active and exploring, and sometimes I’m happy with a quiet evening at home. I’m respectful, tidy, and I appreciate honest communication.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people from different countries and experiencing cultures in a real, personal way, not just as a tourist. I enjoy sharing my home, cooking a meal together, and exchanging stories, tips, and good conversations.
For me, Couchsurfing is about trust, respect, and connection. I want to make travelers and hosts feel welcome, safe, and relaxed, and I also hope to build friendships and create memories that last longer than the trip.
Interests
I’m into cooking and I love experimenting with new recipes, especially when I can share a meal with friends or guests. Design is another big part of my life (graphic design/branding), and I enjoy creating things that look clean and thoughtful. I also like traveling and discovering new places, local food, and craft beer.
In my free time I watch movies, listen to music, and follow football. I’m also a car guy, and I enjoy anything related to cars and driving. And when I’m staying in, I’m always up for computer games or a good board game night.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Pixar animation, especially Ratatouille. I’m also a big fan of directors like Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan. When it comes to TV shows, my favorites include The Sopranos, The Office, and Twin Peaks, and I’m always open to new recommendations.
My top genres are indie and electronic, with a soft spot for Ukrainian indie and Ukrainian rock. I also listen to hip hop depending on the mood.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Ukrainian cooking basics and a few traditional recipes, and I’d love to share stories and little details about Ukrainian culture and traditions. I can also share what I know about graphic design and help with creative ideas if you’re into that.
I’m always happy to learn from others too —new recipes, languages, local habits, music, and travel tips. For me, the best part is exchanging experiences and having real conversations that make travel feel more meaningful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I’m respectful, tidy, and easy to live with. I always follow house rules, keep shared spaces clean, and I’m mindful of quiet hours. I’m happy to help around the home with dishes or small chores, and I can cook a tasty dinner as a thank you.
I also enjoy sharing culture, especially Ukrainian traditions and food, and I can bring a small souvenir or local treat if possible.
I’m good company for conversations, walks, or exploring the city together, but I also respect personal space if you’re busy.
