I've been happily married for 30 years, have 6 adult children and 10 grandchildren. We live on 5 acres in Menifee, California and have lived here for the full 30 years.

My passion is teaching and meeting others. I'm an international speaker, author and entrepreneur. I also founded and run a non-profit organization for young entrepreneurs called YESplace and teach now part time as a college professor in business and communications. I'm a US Air Force veteran and have backgrounds in both computer technology and had a career working in surgery. I am an expert hobbyist in neuro-linguistics / body language and am a board certified clinical hypnotherapist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love meeting new people. I'm learning a couple of new languages, love to practice them and learn about other cultures. I've stayed in hotels a big part of my life and the feeling is very boring when I get checked into a room at a hotel. I use AirBNB and couch-surfing whenever I can because I enjoy the interactions with other much better.

I lost 80 pounds and then ran the LA Marathon in March of 2017.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm older, so have grown to an expert level in a few fields. I love to share with others how we can communicate better using non-verbal communication. I also love to share business ideas and formulas. I've often times found myself giving business advice with hosts who are starting new businesses. I love that.
