I was born in the southern part of Russia, at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains. I went to school in the Urals and the Far North, practically at the Arctic Circle, and finished college while living in Moscow. Since childhood, I moved around Russia a lot with my family. When I grew up, I started traveling independently. In 2015, I left home and traveled for 2 years hitchhiking, visiting 19 countries.

In 2022, my wife Julia and I moved to Kyrgyzstan, but most of the time we spend our time traveling. We also host travelers in Bishkek when we are here. I work remotely as a product UI/UX designer, which allows me to spend a lot of time on the road. I am interested in documentary and art photography, drawing abstract graffiti and learning languages. We love long-term trips, and prefer to travel overland, relying on hitchhiking and staying with locals for accommodation. It helps us to connect more deeply with the places we visit.
