ABOUT ME

My name is Denis. I was born in Russia, but my family moved to Iowa when I was four and then down to Texas. I recently finished college and I'm working now as a hardware verification engineer in Austin, Texas. I'm easygoing and up for trying new things and meeting people, which is why couchsurfing sounded like a very cool idea when I first heard about it. Mostly, I just want to keep finding new things to experience and broaden my horizons.

I love to travel and see new places, trying both to see the sights and absorbs some of the culture while I'm there. I love most types of music and very much enjoy a live show. I love to meet new people and discover what they are all about, because everyone is unique and has something to bring to the table.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

1) Seeing the Mona Lisa in real life...it really captured me and I felt like I could stare at it for hours.
2) Seeing Radiohead, one of my favorite bands, play live for the first time was amazing. I thought that I would never see a better show. I was wrong though. There were some more shows that came very close, so it's hard to pick between them.
3) Arriving at my flat in Edinburgh and realizing that I was living on my own in another country. The feeling of adventure and anticipation was overwhelming, in a good way.
