Looking to share an apt in Rio with people from end of Sept to Oct 15th

ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian 40 years old (engaged to a Brazilian) and have travelled extensively. Due to work (and her visa situation to visit Canada) we have not been together since May. We have been together for almost 3 years.

We do talk and/or chat everyday and even though most people say long distance relationships don't work, we are both working at it and realize it is tough for now, but it will be worth it in the end.

I am heading back next week to Brazil to meet up with my fiancee Gabriela who is from Manaus.

This is my 6th trip to Brazil and after marriage (possibly in Rio next August) I would like to live here permanently, but might still have an apartment in Canada (either Ottawa or Montreal) for us to come back to now and then.

We are looking for fun, cool people to share an apt with for those weeks. It looks like we might be arriving in Rio around Sept 22nd (give or take a few days) and plan to stay until Oct 15th ( with some time in Sao Paolo)

I have looked into hostels and for a private room fro the both of us the prices would be much too expensive. Although I have a great job that I love and get to travel a lot, my hours have not been the greatest these past couple of months ( but do get paid at the end of the month YAAAH).

Of course we would be able to help pay for expenses during our stay.

We also realize that we probably could not be hosted by the same people for the entire duration, but that also is a positive thing since we will be able to meet and live with different people during our time in Rio.

And the friendships we make hopefully will last forever!

She will add the rest in Portuguese. She speaks Portuguese and French and I speak English/french (I can understand some portugese, but better in spanish)

PHILOSOPHY

Eventually we will be doing some exporting from Brazil to Canada, but for now I will work in the UAV field (will be deployed overseas early next year for a few months).
