I am Denis, French guy living in the UK for 10 years now.
Since I moved here, I started going everywhere I could in Europe and in South America for a couple of months every winter. London is really my home now, I love that people come from different place with different background and opinions.
I am still dreaming about a sunnier home (Barcelona dream one day) but meanwhile I continue to escape during winters to a sunnier and warmer destination.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am here to meet great people from everywhere. I went to some events, a lot of language exchange events and stuff like that.
I never stay with someone from CS and to be honest I haven't been using CS a lot in the last few years but I recently moved to a nice flat in 2020.

The kitchen/living room has a comfy couch, I have spare duvet and pillows, etc and I thought I could be a host. It's something I couldn't do in my previous places. London is an expensive city so helping someone for a night or two, make a connection and share some stories.

Classic stuff I guess. I love socialising with people from everywhere. I like my job (most times - when I don't feel like killing clients haha) but I like to do thing completely unrelated too. Learning new things is always good.

Meh. I do listen to music, watch movies and read books but I got a huge deficiency with names of singers, actors, movie names, writers well all names of famous people I don't really care about. My friend makes fun of me because everytimes I want to talk about one it's like a game guessing what's the name of...
However, I remember names of people I meet in real life so don't worry, just a selective brain.
