Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to try out couch surfing because when I'm exploring the world I don't want to feel like a tourist. Hotels and Airbnb have always felt very removed. Hostels have their quirks, but as much as I love them I feel even more of a tourist because everyone staying in hostels are not locals. I realized why I never felt quite when traveling complete until I stayed with a local in Havana, Cuba and got to experience the day to day life of what it was like living in Havana. This completely changed the game.
