My mission is to get out of the house as much as possible and explore the world around me on a shoestring preferably by bike.

ABOUT ME

I am outgoing and friendly. I love all kinds of adventures. I'm not afraid of getting off the beaten path and, in fact, that's where I spend most of my time. I love being outside in nature bike riding, swimming, kayaking, walking or just chilling, but I also enjoy a good book and the occasional movie in the great indoors. I'd rather do than have. I love learning about other ways of doing things, how people across the world live, how we are the same and how we are different. I love to hear your unique stories and share mine.

Nothing but great experiences every time! I am awed and amazed at all the generous and kind people out there in the world. Couch surfing affirms that there is goodness in the world if we are open and trusting enough to let it in. This is an awesome organization that warms my soul knowing it exists.

兴趣

I love my work as an adult literacy teacher working with all-aged adults both native and foreign born. I strongly believe that everyone deserves equal access to education and the opportunity it affords. I am fluent in Spanish and volunteer as a bilingual mediator on my days off. Love taking self-contained bike trips when possible, extended treks occasionally, and will jump at the chance to travel almost anywhere at any time.

love documentaries covering almost any theme, love foreign films and quirky Indie movies. Music - open to everything except techno, and love to read both fiction and nonfiction but usually fall asleep before I get too far.

Self-contained bike trip from Bolivia to Ushuaia, Argentina then up to Buenos Aires and Uruguay (6,000miles), Annapurna circle in Nepal, biking through Cuba, and any given day in India has left an everlasting impression on me.
