ABOUT ME

Hi, I´m Denise. I´m 22 years old and live in Umeå with my boyfriend and my bunny Billy. I´m a very happy person who is greatful for so many things in my life. I absolutly love meeting new people and make friends so this sofa-thing sounds amazing. I´m planning a trip to California this summer and a friend told me about couchsurfing. I bought a ticket to San Francisco when the fall was it´s darkest, I´m going alone so I´m hoping to meet lovley people to keep me company here and there.

Interests

I study medicine at the university, volunteer for the local Red Cross organization with secondhand clothes and work extra with intellectually incapacitated young boys and girls. Sound like Miss World don´t I? :D I love my work in the secondhand store, I have a huge passion for old clothes, beautiful shoes and vintage bags.

I also like sports. I´ve been an alpine skiier most my life but now I´m training boxing a few times a week. I´m not so good at it but it´s lots of fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have not been to so many places. The Alps maybe ten times for skiing but except that just two times outside Scandinavia. Summer 08 me and a childhood friend went to Spain, Santa Susana and Barcelona, for tanning och shopping. Summer 11 my little sister and I spend a lovley week in Malta. Bumping around in old busses, tanning, swimming and reading. Very relaxing, just what I needed at that time. I kind of suprised myself when I bought a ticket over the Atlantic sea all by myself haha..
