ABOUT ME

I'd like to think I'm an approachable and easy going person, but that's for you to judge really.

I tend to treat life more like a process as opposed to an urge to a final goal. I'd say I'm mostly driven by my curiosity and aspiration to learn as much as possible about the world around me. I keep streching out my neck to see what's around the next bend only to find out that the road is twistier than I thought.

Motivation is everything to me. Sometimes I'm absolutely hopeless trying to make a step towards some goal I don't really believe in, and at the same time nothing can stop me whwn I'm really inspired.

I'm a sociable person. I see myself as a family member, a friend of my closer circle of people, a part of the society I live in as opposed to an individual whose personal well-being, prosperity and liberties are the guiding force in one's life.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to get as close as possible to being at peace and agreement with myself; sort of, try and find a perfect inner balance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, just by being a member and spreading the word really. Not much more then that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One thing I say for sure is I never ever had a negative experiance when surfing or hosting people through CS. I think it's a brilliant communal effort to make cultural exchange more accessible and affordable.

Interests

Quite evidently, travelling, is my biggest interest. To me nothing can compare to getting out there and discover new ideas and new perspectives on things.

The other big one, I think, would be creativity. Everything creative, driven by pure human curiousity and need to express oneself is amazing. I suppose the most common outputs would be arts, cinema, music, which, as a result, I'm well interested in. However, I have to say, I'm lucky to claim there's a room for creativity in my professional field. Creative coding, installations, data visualization and, generally, creating nice and usefull things that make others wonder, are all the things I'm interested in.

Another big one forgot to mention is preparing food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll name just the key ones to give an idea.
Movies: Before Night Falls, Before Sunrise, City of God
Music: Radiohead, Soulwax, Joanna Newsom
Books: Dostojevskij, Bulgakov, Pelevin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moments, moments, moments. We all have them. Think this is the most memorable one, before it get's overshadowed with the next. I do remember some moments of excitement, and they mostly have to do with travelling or people, but I still thing the best ones are still to come.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages maybe? Something travel related, perhaps.
