Hey, my name's Stephen and I'm a 26 year old British guy. I grew up in rural Oxfordshire in England, and I'm currently a primary school teacher in Bogota Colombia, where I teach a brilliant class of 11 year old.

I'd say I'm a little odd; I love Pokemon, and houseplants! I have an addiction to gin, and love losing myself in a great book (mostly children's fiction...it's erm...research for my job!) I live with two parakeets, Bip and Lemon

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love experiencing local cultures on a personal level, and seeing how we are all the same and all different. There can be a few cultural shocks along the way (the Chinese lady who emptied my freezer is a good example, as is the Australian who didn't wash for a week) but Couchsurfing is never boring and I love seeing new people and having a laugh along the way.

I haven't been on this site in a while, but I am hoping to get back into it.

- Languages - I love learning new ones, currently working on my Spanish
- Anything from the 1990s (music, tv, pokemon, etc)

- Science Fiction - I love books such as The Hunger Games, His Dark Materials, etc I also am a slight nerd and love Star Trek :D

I love Sci-fi books and movies. Music, i'm a little eclectic, alternating from 70s classics to 90s dance to electro and cheese. If it's uptempo, i'll like it.

Dawn in Radcliffe Square - I still don't think many places can beat the city of Oxford, and my favourite place in the city is the Radcliffe Square. Surrounded by old, sandstone buildings, at dawn (when the tourists aren't around) the square is just beautiful.

As a teacher, I love sharing knowledge. I'm a fairly good historian if you're interested, and I can share my languages with others.

Im also pretty decent at baking!
