About Me
Hey there!
I studied English Translation and Interpreting, and I have just finished my Master's degree in Translation Studies. I am about to start pursuing my PhD in the same field. I'm into psycholinguistics and cultural studies and love discussing about the behavior/character change bilingual people experience, especially the way we use language as a mask!
Just like everyone else in here, I love learning about new cultures and always find it amazing to meet with locals. I am very open-minded and don't hesitate trying new things.
I think my photos are self-explanatory:
I love traveling, dancing, socializing, reading, watching movies, going to theaters, festivals and concerts, I do scuba diving, and extreme sports always sound fun, I tried a few of them -including bungee jumping- I like hiking in nature, walking around, and working out as well. If you checked my photos already, you probably understood that I love anything related to water :D I am very into psychology, I love learning and talking about it. I also love animals, and I try to eat mostly plant-based in my daily life- but traveling makes it a bit difficult so I am okay with eating vegetarian while traveling.
I love meeting new people and making new connections, I believe everyone you meet in life has a purpose; sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes significant, but never without meaning. I believe there’s something to learn from every person and every experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think it's sad to pick just one!
I spent my last new year's eve in 2023 in a hospital, entertaining child patiences. It was the most meaningful new year's eve I have ever experienced. I studied in my junior year of high school in the US as an exchange student. I worked as an AIESEC volunteer in a school in Mexico for 2.5 months. traveling Sri Lanka for 23 days with sooo many adventures was a whole different level, many things happened :D honestly, every time I go to a conference to do simultaneous or consecutive translation I feel amazing and alive, I love the adrenaline rush!
