Обо мне
I grew up in İzmir, one of the most beautiful cities in Turkey for sea tourism. Most of my childhood summers were spent on the coastal side of İzmir, enjoying the sun and the sea.
In high school, I became curious about Spanish and wanted to learn it, so I joined an exchange program and spent a semester in Chile, living with a local family. It was an amazing experience that helped me learn Spanish and introduced me to a completely different culture. After returning to Turkey, I continued studying Spanish and also started volunteering with AFS to support other exchange students.
Later, I moved to Istanbul for university, where I studied Tourism Management at Boğaziçi (Bosphorus) University. During my time there, I was actively involved in a theater community for three years, acting in various plays. I also worked on some short films with my actor and actress friends, trying out our performances in front of the camera.
Currently, I’m living in the Netherlands as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program. I've been in Breda for about five months now, and I’m really enjoying the biking culture, the parks, and the beautiful nature. During my exchange, I’ve been trying to learn about different cultures and explore local lifestyles. As much as my study schedule allows, I try to travel to different cities. So far, I’ve visited France, Germany, Hungary, and Belgium and I hope to add more soon!

For me, the most meaningful part of traveling is meeting people and sharing real moments, not just ticking places off a list. When I was in high school, I joined an exchange program and spent a semester in Chile. I stayed with a local family who welcomed me like one of their own. After hearing about my friends’ very different host experiences, I understood how special true hospitality is.
That experience changed the way I think. After I returned to Turkey, I found myself inviting friends over more often and enjoying that feeling of sharing space and creating small memories together. Hosting and being hosted became something I truly value.
Now, during my Erasmus+ year, I try to travel as much as I can. But more than seeing buildings or taking photos, I want to connect with people who live in these cities, learn how they see the world, and share stories. I’m not here just to find a place to sleep, but to meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy simple, genuine moments during my travels.

Музыка, кино и книги
I usually listen to rock music, and The Beatles are my all-time favorite. At the same time, I enjoy exploring different styles depending on how I feel.
I also have a soft spot for nostalgic Turkish songs. They have a unique warmth that always brings back memories from my childhood.
When it comes to films, I really enjoy the work of Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese and Nuri Bilge Ceylan. I'm drawn to movies with strong characters and stories that leave you thinking afterwards.
One of my favorite books is 1984 by George Orwell. I’m fascinated by stories that make you question the world we live in.
