About Me
Hi all!
I am Deniz from Antalya, Turkey. I am senior Electrical and Electronics student at Boğaziçi University, İstanbul. Currently, I study in Poznan, Poland as an Erasmus student and I will be here till July. In this period, I would love to travel around Europe as much as I can and gain valuable memories.
In general, I am a very compatible, friendly and cheerful person. Scuba diving, freediving and football are my favorite hobbies. I also know a little Latin American dances: Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In general, I want to embark on new adventures, get to know new cultures and see new places. Moreover, while visiting a new city, I think it is important to get into the city life and listen to the suggestions of someone living in that city, rather than just visiting the historical and important places of the city. Also, I made a lot of friends from around the world and I still keep in touch with some of them. These friendships are very precious to me. I would love to make new friends and Couchsurfing is the perfect place for all this.
I am super excited about my first couchsurfing experience!

Music, Movies, and Books
I spend 2-3 hours every day listening to music and I listen to songs from a wide variety of genres. Currently I have two favorite songs from two different genres: Regional Brazilian, Os Barões da Pisadinha - Esquema Preferido; Turkish Hip-Hop, Murda - Gece Gündüz.
My favorite movie is Forrest Gump and my favorite book is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was eighteen, I went to the United States on my own with the Work and Travel program and worked as a lifeguard during the summer. Then I traveled the east coast for 2 weeks. When I look back, I have made beautiful friendships and accumulated memories. It was an incredible experience for me to do that at that age.
