ABOUT ME

One nice day back in '04 I realized that I needed to leave Munich, and in fact Germany for a while. The initial plan a short one-year student exchange and then come back to the life I knew. But as plans go, things turned out a little different and I'm still abroad!
I love having full, precise control over my motion - whether it is in Tae Kwon Do, Trapeze or Salsa. I love being outdoors, mostly exploring nature on foot or on bike. I love hearing those random stories people come back with from a vacation abroad, and experiencing such stories myself. I love music - I'm always searching for chord progressions that "resonate" with me. I love good bass lines!
I love everything non-digital. I spend too much time in cyberspace for work, and I prefer to spend my free time in the real world.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to live in the present. This is becoming surprisingly difficult these days, with so many things requiring planning and scheduling and worrying about details.

I've been hosting people for our university dance competition in New York, but not through CS so far. I'm excited to host once I'm back from traveling.
