ABOUT ME

Hi, we're Sarah and Dennis. We are a couple since 2007 and live together in Duisburg since 2009. Dennis studied and graduated in German and English at Duisburg-Essen University and Sarah is still studying English and Maths to become a teacher at the same University.
We love animals and live together with our two cats Samus and Zelda.
Dennis loves to play the drums since he was 3 years old, experiments with other instruments these days, writes and plays video games in his free time. Sarah also plays the drums and sometimes we both jam along, Dennis on guitar and Sarah on drums. She reads a lot, loves board games and likes to cook and bake.

PHILOSOPHY

We both live completely vegan because we don't think that animals should be exploited for our benefit. So if you surf our couch don't expect to get a steak for dinner. But we would love to share a fantastic cruelty-free meal with you if you are up to it.
Also we are atheists; nevertheless we respect any religious beliefs that you might have.

Movies:
We love old movies, especially the ones by Alfred Hitchcock, everything by the Coen brothers, Park Chan Wook, Quentin Tarantino, partly Jim Jarmush. Dennis loves David Lynch. Sarah not so much. Apart from that we are pretty much into different TV series like 'The Bing Bang Theory', 'How I met your Mother', 'Black Books' or 'Green Wing'.

Music:
Dennis loves all kinds of interesting music like Post Rock/Metal, Jazz, Swing, Big Band, Chiptunes Electro, Sludge, Rock, Metal...
all time favourites are Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Opeth, Katatonia, Anathema, Maybeshewill, Cult of Luna, Danko Jones, Kyuss, Isis, Fall of Efrafa, Tom Waits.
Sarah likes Blues, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Swing, Singer Songwriter.
Favourite bands are Anthrax, Black Sabbath, 3 Inches of Blood, Danko Jones, Anathema, Coheed and Cambria...

Books:
We generally both love special books that have that certain magic. Our favourite authors are A. Lee Martinez, Walter Moers and others.
Dennis's faves are Shakespeare, Lem, Douglas Adams, Watership Down, 1984, Brave New World, The Book Thief...
Sarah's loves The Book Thief, The Name of the Wind, Jonathan Barnes...
