Hard working , but very easy going. Like to laugh and not take things too seriously, but know when I have to. I work multiple jobs and probably work too much, but am determined to give my kids the best life they can have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my travels, I am more interested in the people and culture more than the touristy sights. (Although some sights are nice) This concept of couchsurfing seems to be a good fit for the type of experience I look for in traveling. Plus it also gives me the opportunity to give back in the same way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - All kinds of music, every type has its own place and emotion and I listen and enjoy it for what each type brings. I grew up on rock and have evolved to embrace all types, I'm always looking for something new. Lately been getting into electronic music.
Movies - Don't really have time to see many, but when I do I tend to choose to see documentaries, as real life often proves more interesting than fiction. But also like a good comedy! Love certain tv shows - House of Cards, Twin Peaks. Just wish I had more time to enjoy more.
Books - I like to, but that would require having time to read! :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to share my life experience, sense of humor, and respect for anyone who would be gracious enough to open their space to me. I would hope that I could do anything I can to make the encounter positive and both parties would in the end benefit for it to have happened. I would also understand that hosting works both ways and I would share a return of the favor by helping them any way I can or hosting them if they are ever in my home area.
