我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I traveled to quite some places before and often in various ways. I've just came back from a year living and working in Thailand, pretty much fixed on one location. I work for 6 months till April in the Netherlands (so if you need a place I probably can help you out) and want to work as an instructor again after that. But instead of going as the crow flies, I'd prefer going from couch to couch. I'm not in a rush to go anywhere and really want to take my time.

The list is endlessly long and interests become more or less interesting over time.
I can talk with you about almost anything and really enjoy listening to people that speak with passion in their voice when they talk about doing the stuff they love.
Doesn't mean I am a person that need to have conversations because I need to talk.
I enjoy reading a book or listen to some music. That's one of the reasons why I love the outdoors and the underwater world so much, because I also like it when it's silent.

音乐、电影和书籍

Again difficult to capture in just a few genres or bands/singers. It depends a lot on my mood, what I'm doing or gonna do and also if I'm alone or not. I'm not a huge fan of anyone or style In general. I like most of all, as in everything else, diversity. The few things I can't stomach (some exceptions here and there) hardcore rap, death metal and "slager".
I wasn't much of a reader before, but that changed recently ish. Now I read a book every two/three weeks. I just read where I get my hands on. Deception point is the one I finished last and now working my way through shantaram and a vampire one.
I enjoy watching films, but I don't know much about them.. I know a few actors by face, but that's about it.

I can and like to cook quite a bit. I can teach, but I really appreciate learning new skills.
I've been teaching in English, German and Dutch, so I can help you out with that a bit too. Myself I'm trying to learn Spanish (still very very poor).
I studied some engineering once and renovated an apartment from the ground up, let's say I know what I'm doing with my hands and able handling some tools.
There are also a few people that mentioned my massage skills once or twice..
