Overview
About Me
I'm from Hanover in northern Germany, living and studying here.
Leftist, queer and idealist. Nighthawk, coffee enthusiast.
...introverted but talkative, spontaneous, impulsive and open hearted.
I... ride my bike daily / dance Salsa, Bachata, Rock'n'Roll and some more / like small pubs / believe there is no such thing as "bad weather" / read too rarely / am good at binging series / am into design objects but opposing mass consumption / am convinced democratic socialism is a good idea / think foxes are very cute / like building things from wood / always have a free saddle on the tandem bicycle for my friends
Interested in arts, theater, politics and environment.
I thank the inventors of pizza and red wine!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to travel more and experience all the wonderful places around Europe. Since my friends keep sending me lovely postcards from all their trips, telling me about their great experiences with local hosts from couchsurfing, I thought I might give it a go (besides I really need to return the favour with the postcards ;).
Interests
I'm interested in preserving this beautiful planet. Therefore I try to get to the bottom of what is really important for us living on this planet an what's not. I'm questioning my own lifestyle and habits and the political systems we currently have. By establishing and participating in a "Students for Future" group and working on renewable energies and the transformation of our cities I try my best to strive for climate justice. I strongly believe that actions speak louder than words. But don't worry - I'm not dogmatic and I won't question or criticise your way of living. It's the system I wanna change, not the people ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Unfortunately I didn't yet manage to use couchsurfing.
I stood under the worlds largest wind turbine (180 m wingspan are quite impressive).
I walked down the aisle with my older sister when she married her husband.
Worked as a waiter in hotels / on fairs / on events for 7 years and luckily got out of it - no offence, but you gotta be crazy to do that all of your life.
I did ski-jumping and nordic-skiing when i was young (my mom was so afraid :D).
Rode my bicycle for almost every day over the last year and managed not to lose a finger to fostbite, although it was close sometimes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my views on this world, my love for good food and political conversations. I'm very persistend when it comes to walk trough cities and museums, I premonish you ;).
My enthusiasm for cycling every day.
My professional dishwashing skills.
