CURRENT MISSION

I want to visit my grand daughter who is currently studying in Siena, Italy. I want to prove to her I can still get around.

ABOUT ME

I am a retired high school teacher and coach. I love to laugh, travel and have a couple of glasses of wine. I am very honest. I workout almost everyday. So I am in great shape physically--mentally no promises. I am easy to get along with. I am usually eager to help out. I like to stay busy.
I have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. My oldest grand child is in college at Northern Arizona University. She is currently studying abroad in Siena. I have always wanted to visit Italy. This is the perfect time to do it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have just been a traveler. If I ever settle down I will certainly be a host. I had a nice stay in Homer, Alaska as a couch surfer. @ years ago I stayed there for 2 months. So I have now been to all the states. I have lived in 6 states.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Homer, Alaska two years ago. I spent 2 months there, some of it as a Couchsurfer.

Interests

I like to people watch. I like to watch people sing and dance and have fun. I used to love to play golf. Now I like to golf and enjoy it and the people associated with it. I try to work out daily. I am always looking for new experiences. I am always trying new restaurants.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, especially if it is live. In order rock and roll, country, blues, bluegrass, reggae,etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am down to just a few things on my "Bucket List" Going to Alaska(done that now) seeing Rod Stewart in concert and going to the Mardi Gras are still on my list. I recently took The Kentucky Derby off of my list. I have also been to the Indiapolis 500 and Daytona 500.
