Storyteller, nomad , sailor. I've travelled all over the world and written six books. Slept on many people's couches over the years and happy to return the favour. Currently home is a 36 foot sailboat in Langkawi, Malaysia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS welcome to a berth on the boat when I'm docked - but I do move frequently. My apologies is time and place do not always coincide with what CS visitors might desire. It's the nature of sailing (and weather!).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent experience with CS. Years ago I hitch-hikled from Cape Town to Cairo solo when I left school and couch surfed many times. Have accommodated casual guests many times in many places over the years. Very happy to meet new people undertaking their own adventures.

Walked 2000 miles solo across India.
Travelled 3+ years with canoe in Amazon rain forest, including living with Yanomami Indians.
