ABOUT ME

It's so predictable or rather boring to talk about my 'openmindedness and easygoingness', I consider myself a global citizen. Over the years I've gotten myself involved into activism, thinking and thinkering. I like meeting and making new friends, exchanging and learning about people's cultures and interests! Write and and meet me in person!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn different cultures and to make couch surfing a socially responsible and reliable place where members can meet and feel like a family.

Working with communities;
Society is no longer a better place, but I try giving back whatever little I have like knowledge so as to make it a just place for every humankind!
I live a very simple life among very simple people which, I have been able to organise. I work with and sometimes run grassroot community based organizations, where members can come for knowledge, ideas and support.

Camping, Nature;
Given a chance I'd live in the biggest forest and try to mimic life of organisms inside the forest, I'm attached to Nature because of the principle responsibility to conserve and protect them; millions of organisms share same home without any infighting, domination or contol...could humans be like this??? Just wondering

I starved myself for 7days and the only thing I needed was a book, that's when I realized the mind can be a food for the body and soul.

Philosophy
How about we think lightly or stop thinking about ourselves and think heavily or start thinking about the world we live in... And where we wanna take it because society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.

Ain't so much into movies but I love knowledge and that's what sends me into books, Derrick Jensen's Deep Green Resistance, A language Older than Words and Endgame. Anything that fuses African traditional with pop, Les Nubians, Rokia Traore, Ba Cissoko, Fatoumata Diawara, Cheik Lo, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Immortal Technique, Last Emperor, Mary J. Blige. I read a lot of Philosophy and anything good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At times I see things normally or maybe amazing and normal means the same thing to me...I've shared knowledge with communities, planted trees, set up permaculture farm and protested against the establishment (activism)!

I can cook for my guests and share with them and tell stories.

Apart from my solid knowledge on cultures and building things, I can offer to cook, tell stories and help in house chores.
