I'm known as a nomad, getting attached to places and then longing for the unknown faraway again. Having made myself at home in as diverse places as India, Ladakh, New Zealand and Indonesia has turned me into a kind of cosmopolitan, adopting whatever is useful from wherever in the world.

I've just rediscovered couchsurfing and look forward to hosting and surfing - it's a great way to make new friends, to learn new things, and to have fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived with a Ladakhi family in the Indian Himalayas.

Ladakh in winter. Incredibly impressing flight over the snow-covered Himalayas.

Lived on the slopes above Christchurch, with stunning views.

24 hours non-stop hiking onto a volcano in Java.

A trip trough Iran - a country blessed with incredibly beautiful landscapes.

Super interesting research on land conflicts and illicit gold and diamond mining in Indonesia.
