ABOUT ME

Well, I do like this profile texts a lot :)
I'm an open minded person which love to meet people from other countries. I love traveling foreign countries but also in my home country Germany. There are so many places which I would like to visit and so limited vacation time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meet some really nice people, mostly for a beer or showing people around.
CS somehow works differently in Germany then in other countries, which is fine but also akward sometimes.
As I'm less traveling for work now, I'll try to offer a couch more often.

Interests

I try to keep myself fit with climbing, mainly in climbing halls, not so much outside on rocks, yet.
I'm quite tech-savvy and have fun on using new technologies also in my private life.
One of my biggest hobbies is sailing on the Alexander von Humboldt 2, which is a square rigged tall ship. I'm sailing on the ship for quite some time now and I'm part of the crew in the rank of an able bodied seaman, training our sailing guests. The ship's main purpose is to train youth on the sea and show them seamanship and teamwork.
Sailing on board is a blast every time and the community around this ship is quite awesome.

If I'm not traveling or sailing, I like to be around people, meeting friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie, Ska, Reggea, Blues and with my girlfriend being a big fan of Rockabilly and Psychobilly music, I do get into liking that with hearing a lot of different bands from that scene.
