i'm ian, 33, live in derby and work in the local library. love to read anything from biographies to classic novels and science text books.

also enjoy playing the piano and love to listen to classical and jazz.

have no tv so use iplayer now and again and mainly listen to the national bbc radio stations.

i'm a keen cyclist and like to jog and swim too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'm very new to the site so to begin with i can do coffee and chats in derby city centre.

when i get more confident i will hopefully be able to offer a coach, and i mean a coach, no spare room at my place i'm afraid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

have met a two surfers through my friend monica who's been on the site a little longer than me.

one was on christmas day and he was very cool and really out going. the other surfer was from london and looking to move out of the capital and seeing towns around the uk to see where to settle. he also was cool and very engaging.

Interessen

i am keen jazzers, playing jazz on the piano and listening as well as going to gigs.

i'm a keen cyclist, jogger and swimmer. i love to read almost anything from philosophy to popular sicence books.
