About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Helping people see the world!!!!!

ABOUT ME

I've always wanted to travel, but it wasn't until I joined the Army that I actually went anywhere. While in the Army I was in Georgia then stationed in Germany with a 13 month tour in Iraq. While in Germany I visited a few cities and decided that every year I am going to go somewhere and see something new. I have been out of the Army for awhile now but am still traveling when I can. I love to travel around Europe and see castles and old churches. I love the old gothic designs. I also love the nightlife and the food. I have many places I still have yet to see but I'm slowly checking them off one by one. I would love to meet fellow travellers who also share my passion for travel and sightseeing and cover the globe!

PHILOSOPHY

The goal of my life is to help as many people as possible and to constantly learn new things. I believe that is what God wants me to do with my life. I actually have a blog with all my beliefs and philosophies on it that I would love you all to see. Www.godfreedomphilosophy.blogspot.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started on this, but I'm hoping I can help out any way I can. Like I've said there's not much around here but I'm willing to show it. Like the new pedestrian walkway we have downtown to cross the Missouri. I'll bet no one's ever seen a bridge like that before:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't actually used this type of couch surfing experience before, but being in the military you end up staying at guys houses you barely know sometimes. Plus after 13 months in Iraq I don't care how bad you think your couch or bed is, I'm sure I've slept on worse. Being in the Army also taught me how to easily open up and befriend people that are new to an area and how not too be a pest when you are checking someplace new out yourself. Mainly don't grab the last beer and slice of pizza from the fridge:) There may not be much to see here but I would love to share and show the places I love and I would like people to do the same for me. Some times the best places in a city aren't in a tourist book.

Interests

I love music and movies, reading, traveling, hiking, working out, talking, and learning. Pretty much anything to keep me busy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music and movies. Not too big into country or rap but I do have some favorites. I have a huge collection of songs on my computer from different genres. I would say my most favorite is hard rock but I'm a sucker for a good ballad. I don't read as much as I used to. I used to have a pretty nice comic collection, but i recently sold it. I like action/fantasy books mostly. something based off of a video game or comic book like Aliens, Predator and Splinter Cell. I also love Nicolas Spark's romance novels and also read some Erik Van Daniken. I don't watch much TV but once a season of my favorite tv show hots dvd I usually sweep it up. Family Guy, Smallville, Desperate Houswives, and Buffy and Angel just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen quite a few things in my years. From the Eiffel Tower to Castle Rheinstein to the site of the Berlin wall. I know there's tons more out there an hopefully little by little I can see it all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know quite a bit about computers and enjoying discussing new technology. I'm also into bodybuilding and working out and love to talk nutrition and help people learn how simple it can be to eat right and work out. I'm also a big debater and love talking about all the taboo subjects like religion and politics. The best way to gain knowledge can be to argue points back and forth.
