I’m embarking on my 2nd bike touring adventure to the west! My first tour was on the southern tier, a 3.000 mile journey in fall 2017. It was tough at the beginning, but meeting new people using Warm Showers/Couch Surfing helped me on my journey, and I thank them all for that. The tour was a great experience and I want to try it again on a different route.

I must increase my cardiovascular fitness from cycling, to my body. I've been lazy at home and need something drastically different for my well-being. I need my health back! I also don't want to see the same view on my island over and over, boring. I'm looking for ADVENTURE! New places, new people!

I'm polite and get along with most people. I do my best to follow the rules and respect others. Good sense of detail, says my friends and boss. Cleanliness a plus.

I like Stew Chicken w/ Red Beans and Rice, Island Stuffing and Salad. Mmm...good. I rarely drink, but if you offer me a beer…I’d probably drink it. ;p

I like photography, movies, history, art, traveling, YouTube, carbonated drinks and FOOD! (allergic to seafood, sry)

I LOVE CATS AND DOGS! Meow, Woof-woof

I use to ride an EUC (electric unicycle) with full gear, “coastal carving" at 45mph. Yikes! From one end on the island to the other. I became famous throughout the whole island, and not one person would dare to follow my idea. lol Everywhere I go though someone would ask, "Are you that one wheel guy?" Ha-ha. Puts a smile on my face every time. Not one day has past without someone asking me about it. Annoying at first, but I got use to it. My EUC is currently put in storage. I have 3 years EUC riding experience. It’s an interesting hobby with nothing in front of you, but the feeling of Superman at high speed.

My tour begins in Richmond, VA on June 15th. My tour plans would be TransAmerica half way, and then north St. Louis, MO, turn west Minnesota, WI and all the way to the Oregon Coast. I know the midwest can be really hot in the summer. I'm going to try my best to stay away. Wish me luck!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mountain climb The Teton Mountains, Jackson Hole, WY.

Canoed then carried from one lake and to the other. Shoreline camped on Leigh Lake with crystal clear blue water. Brown cub seen a hundred yards away. Nothing happened. The next day we canoed across towards the Teton Mountain shoreline and hiked up to East Horn, about 11,000 ft. I had the chance to repelled down from the top half. Beautiful views.
