Edit: Life keeps marching on. From Amsterdam to Hoorn to Croatia to Den Haag and now to a home of our own in the oldest city in Holland—Dordrecht!

She’s over 100 years old and has seen better days, but after 6 months, I now feel like she’s in good enough shape to take in guests. It’s a 12 minute stroll to Dordrecht Station, and a 15 minute train ride to Rotterdam Centraal. From there, the intercity direct on the high-speed line sees you to Schiphol in 25 minutes, or south to Antwerp, Brussels, Paris or beyond.

American born photographer and IT engineer, the Netherlands has been home for the last five years.
