I am a 25 y.o. American from Boston with a background in finance. I am an optimist, a sojourn, and a lover of all things I can learn something from. I am open to trying new foods and love hearing about different adventures, peoples' backgrounds, and learning about cultures. I can have just as much fun at a charity cocktail reception as I can playing mini golf with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in Sydney on a working holiday visa and while I look for a more permanent place would like to save some money and meet new people.

Interests

I know it sounds cliché, especially for this site, but travel is my biggest hobby at the moment. I was in 7 countries last year and hope to visit more this year as I stay in Australia for some time. I also enjoy nature, reading, TV, going to the beach and a variety of other things. If I haven't tried the activity/hobby I may be interested in doing so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job back in the states and the same week went skydiving for the first time in Lake Elsinore. I figuratively took a leap of faith by quitting my job and applying for a WHV and literally took a leap of faith for the symbolism. Hopefully I will have more amazing things to add to the list when I am done with my travels here in Australia.
