I like to get out of my comfort zone. Lean into challenges and grow. I love spending time outdoors and meeting people. I’m in school learning how to make prosthetics and orthotics, and before that, did quite a bit of travelling. I’m excited to see what’s out there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine from Germany asked to go on a road trip the other year, and I had my first taste of couchsurfing. I didn’t expect such a welcoming community! I’d known about it for a long time but had a lot of fun actually doing it. I think it’s the best way to see a place: you meet locals and experience it more authentically. It’s pretty special to go somewhere new but already feel like you’ve got an old friend, and I like to be that person too. Hosting adds more spice to my life

Teach, Learn, Share

I’ve been picking up photography and would like to learn the Adobe suite, mostly Illustrator so I can make digital art. Gain more body control like a gymnast or Ninja Warrior. Improve at slacklining, unicycling, skateboarding, singing, and wilderness skills. I enjoy learning to identify more plants, their biology & how to propagate them. My trips have inspired me to cook new dishes and I’m starting a large oil paint portrait series of people I’ve encountered on my travels :)
