Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am yet to make a splash in the world of CS. To be honest this is my first real trip away and coming to Latin America I was actually a little intimidated to try CSing. I am now a lot more open-minded (and my wallet is lighter) after 3 months on the road and I am willing to try a new experience.

Interests

I love meeting new people. I have a "try everything once" policy with life (there are a few exceptions of course). I have a new-found passion for travelling which has just recently seen my 3 month South America trip extended indefinitely (read: until I run out of money).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Just about anything.
Books - I love crime novels but lately have been reading a variety of books as they become recommended to me by others.
Music - I like most music; I definitely think that music has to be timed correctly though; nothing worse than hearing heavy metal when hungover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Inca Trail to Machupicchu was definitely the highlight of my South America trip.
Coming in at a close second would have to be a catamaran cruise from Colombia to Panama through the San Blas Islands; they were incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am looking to learn Spanish, as mine has not progressed as much as I would have liked during my time in Latin America.
I would love to meet someone with whom I could exchange language knowledge; i.e. English practice for Spanish practice.
I also love playing sports and am always willing to teach and play anything that might be fun.
