Well here it goes....We are a professional couple looking to travel the world. We both live together in Vail, CO a famous spot for skiing/snowboarding in the USA. My name is Giselle and Derek is my boyfriend. We have currently have been together for 3 years. Derek is from Decatur, IL and I'm from Jupiter, FL but originally born in Mexico. We love to backpack and be outdoors the reason we both love living where we are and why we have stayed together so long haha. Derek and I have a love for life and want to keep learning for years to come. I (Giselle) feel that making relationships with humans is very important for us to grow our minds. We want to learn everything but that would take about 300 life times. So we will settle for meeting amazing people along our journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to really get on a personal level with locals. I would love to learn from a local whats better then to go buy a guide book telling me what to do and see. We would like to explore off the beaten path wherever we are. Couchsurfing can show us more and open our eyes to new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me (Giselle) I finally saw my family after 20 years. That is amazing for me because I never knew my mother growing up and thinking I would never find her or see her.
