Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

have always happily let anyone crash in whatever space was available, love being a tour guide wherever i go, even if ive only been there an hour... i can blag a good town history, can I. Couch and floor space always available for anyone who doesnt mind slumming it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

met an Italien in Berlin, who invited us over the border to visit him. stayed with him for three weeks, and he brought us all over northern italy, from camping in the alps, to sleeping in his spare room, to his uncles couch, to a tent in an aunts garden.... best way ever to see a country, especially when whatever relative at his that we were staying at would always wake us up very late at midday so that we didnt miss the first 4 course meal of the day! Homemade, and usually fresh from the garden! easily best holiday ever.

Interests

beer. food. beer. sporty stuff. breaking things. pretending to fix things but really breaking them more so I can spend longer actually fixing them. anything that lets me show off or be competitive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled 300km across Belgium in 13 hours. Have finished two marathons, and two half ironmen triathlons. Once got into trouble with a big security guard because I was apparently trying to break into Bonos house......

Teach, Learn, Share

Best place in Berlin to go for drunken end of nightfood has got to be Pizza Hut in Tiergarten.....just don't screw up and show up during the one hour each day that they actually close....think its from 4 to 5, but not sure cos always was very drunk when I got there! ;-)
