I am a sales professional that really enjoys my career but is just at a point where I need to find some new opportunities and in the mean time have the means to take some time to travel the world and learn more about it as well as more about myself. I have done a fair amount of traveling in my life but never for this much time and I cannot wait to see what this adventure has in store for me. I am a pretty optimistic and outgoing person. I am pretty easy to get a long with and love to interact with all types of people.

I am couchsurfing as a way to interact with locals in the areas I visit to get a better understanding of their uniqueness and overall culture. It has also been my experience that any local usually knows a lot of interesting things to do that is not necessarily on the Lonely Planet to do list.

I have many interests. I really enjoy everything from kayaking, hiking, sightseeing, soon to be scuba, experiencing the city life in new cities as well. I look forward to trying and seeing many new things as I go on this adventure as I am truly open minded to whatever happens. I also LOVE food and the unique tastes and flavors of all different cultures.

I would say a memorable/Amazing thing that I have done was went to the island of Tortuguero Costa Rica where I watched the sea turtles lay their eggs and go back out to sea after burying them.
