Overview
About Me
I left the US Army when I was 22 and started studying Aikido while going to college and working. After a few years, I moved into the dojo (martial art school) where I studied Aikido, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and MMA (mixed martial arts or sometimes referred to as "cage fighting") full time along with going to college and working a couple jobs. Unfortunately, the school was forced to close after repeated roof issues in 2015, rendering me essentially homeless.
Given this state of affairs, I decided to embark on an expedition in Europe to visit some of the places I had only read about since first studying Latin in high school. I didn't make it into the Legion that time but the 6 week adventure took me from Paris to Rome then journeying up the coast back to France. That was all last year, this year I am doing something similar only I intend on backpacking for close to a year while visiting as many ruins and castles as I can. After my wanderings, I will then march back to France to join the Legion again.
