I used to be very hard on myself. Was convinced no matter what people said, I was incapable of being anything more than mediocre. After spending a year on the road across Canada, and through Europe. meeting people sleeping under bridges on beaches, in tents, trees and couches, I have found confidence I never thought I had which continues to grow with every adventure that I have. That being said. I'm still a very modest person, easy going, love to meet new people, I love going on spontaneous adventures as big as across the 2nd largest country in the world, or as small as driving through the drive through backwards sunglasses on pirate sword in my hand. I am a very responsible individual and mature or so I have been told, though however how mature I really am I guess it would depend on your sense of humor, I have no issues looking like a fool if it means ill make someone laugh. I am very loving and am always willing to go the extra mile or two for a friend.
I LOVE LOVE to learn.
Live life to the fullest. Don't just stop short at the "Dare to Dream" part, instead, Dare to fight for your dreams. The more you are willing to give, and to learn the happier and smarter you will be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have done lots of traveling and have been hosted by many many people which has been incredible. Now that I'm home I hope to help people out as best as I can, I am sadly unable to host anyone until I have my own place. But information, coffee, maybe parties, or giving people rides if were going in the same direction or I'm free, all that fun stuff.
My friend and I travelled across Canada, and Backpacked all of Newfoundland. I got two couches with couchsurfing in Newfoundland. Both were Incredible People and we had a Blast. Even more memorable were the couches we were offered by people who picked us up hitch hiking, or after a brief conversation in a Tim Horton's. There were a few nights we were stuck in the middle of no where, with little food, Twice with the rain coming down sideways, and by the time nightfall came, we were in a warm bed, with full bellies. It was incredible. I had the same experience across Sweden, Germany, Poland, Its been amazing.
Things that grab my attention. They are always the spontaneous random adventures my friends and I go on, never anything bad just plain random :). At the moment my life isn't the most exciting I work 10-11 hrs Monday through Friday, and with the exception of Volunteering at the Drop In Centre in Calgary on Thursday nights, go to evening school until 9.30pm. and when I'm not working or going to school, I am doing homework, meeting with friends, and planning a road trip across Canada, and more travel in Africa, Europe, and New Zealand.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two moments that left me awestruck... Number one for sure was a trip I did to Disney Land with my High School Senior Band. All of my best friends were in this band, and we got to perform in Disney Land! we were there for a week, and it was the most memorable fun filled amazing trip of my life!
Second most amazing trip of my life would be the trip I did to Germany, Austria, Italy, and France with 10 of my best friends and the coolest teacher of all time. It was our Grade 12 after, after party you could call it. we were in Germany 2010 and thought FIFA World Cup was all the way in South Africa at the time the parties in the streets, celebrations at every corner was Amazing! So many memories.
The Midnight sun. In Kiruna. by far one of the most disorganized mishaps ever. But it was still, one of the most amazing things.
