ABOUT ME

I am 41 and I am a performing artist in the realm of spoken word, singing and lyricism. I don't do drugs or drink and as a touring artist I'm not into partying but love to get to know people. Good sense of humor and I love music.

In the performance realm I am known as Desdamona and have been performing and writing since I was a young girl. I work mainly in the realms of Hip Hop, Spoken Word and workshop facilitation.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that art is a vital part of life and the process of creating something helps us realize our power and potential. I would love to continue to travel the world through the art I create.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am seeking to participate as a crasher of couches. I am a performing artist in the realm of music and I use a combination of spoken word, singing and lyricism in my performance. I have traveled to Germany, Puerto Rico, France, Canada, Hawai'i and around the greater US performing over the last 14 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The couchsurfing experience I have is not related to this site but as a traveling musician I have crashed at many people's residence. I am quiet, no drugs and I enjoy good food and good people.
