ABOUT ME

I travel alot so couches will come in handy. My place is not for everyone but some will love it.
I crew/chef on sailing yachts for a living. That's what I've mostly been up to for the last 24 years. I did own my own 40ft sailboat for a few years and sailed it single handed in the Sea of Cortez and Mexican Pacific Coast until I ran out of money...
Just got back from 2 1/2 months in India and now certified yoga teacher!! Yay.

I practically moved in with my host in Auckland!! Had a wonderful time and made a new good friend.

Sailing, playing music, hiking, yoga are my main interests.
I love animals but my lifestyle makes it unfair to have one.
I like bugs.
Now I have 3 chickens!!!! Reddy, Whitey and Pinky.

Don't get a chance to watch many movies but I love Erik the Viking and Shanghai Noon
Books...I read alot. I like clever, fantastic and inspirational reading. My most recent favorite novel was Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society...aw so sweet!
Music; I just saw Gogol Bordello live!! Love Nick Cave, Camille, Magnetic Fields, Ween and so so much more...
