Hi, my name's Désirée, I'm 24 years old and currently studying Business Administration in Germany.
Growing up between the Filipino and German culture, I have always loved exploring new places, meeting different people and learning new languages.
Besides travelling, I also really enjoy cooking, doing sports, dancing, reading and anything that involves creativity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined Couchsurfing to meet with locals while travelling to different places.
It is a nice way to get in contact with new people, get insider tips about the places and be able to speak the local language while visiting a country.

Interests

My biggest passion is dancing, which I started from an early age on and continued throughout my entire life. Besides dancing, I am also very interested in fashion since it is also a way to express yourself in a creative way as well as doing sports.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite kind of music is HipHop, R&B and anything that you can dance to.
I enjoy watching action- and comedy movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An incredibly amazing experience for me was the volunteering project in Costa Rica. I was taking care of children from very little to teenagers in day care centers as well as orphanages. Not only was I able to teach the kids and play with them but they also gave me an incredibly warming feeling of belonging, joy and an unforgettable fun time in Costa Rica. I can definitely recommend staying abroad as a volunteer to help and give back to the people and community.
