Born in one country, brought up in another by parents from other countries, I am fortunate to have lived in a very multicultural atmosphere and am thankful for that. I am pretty easy going and a sociable and positive kind of person.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I have cycled and camped or used hostels most of my life as I travelled with family or friends. I am a sociable kind of person and like People. I often put people up who I meet along the way so I thought I would try this myself, as one of my friends recommended CS. I have had 2 CS experiences so far, one as a guest and one as a host and both have been brilliant. I like the concept of CS, a way if helping each other out, spreading kindness and trust in each other, making the world a friendlier place.

Intereses

Traveling, preferably on a bicycle and with a tent, nature attracts me more than cities. Cooking. Dancing ( mainly salsa/latin). I sing in a choir. Meeting people from different cultures. I love languages and tend to pick up quite a bit when I travel to a new place.

Música, películas y libros

I like allsorts of movies books and music. My favourite film though has to be Orfeu Negro, (I named my son after it), followed by Latcho Drom, also Kusturiça films and such like... Latin American music, ballads, folklore, classical, blues.. I read literature from writers all over the world and watch different types of films.

I like meeting new people and sharing experiences of travel and ways of life and languages. Generally I am always keen to learn something new. Where ever I travel I learn a little of the local language and am quite intuitive with languages and tend to understand quite a bit.
