I am currently a student studying Communications at a local college. I have an associates in Hospitality & Tourism Management, and I have worked the past few years as a reg rep at a local hospital (though now I am only per diem, and therefore do not get many hours.)

I try my hardest to be as communicative as possible, and have studied intercultural as well as interpersonal communications. I tend to be blunt and upfront, and I will ask questions if I feel I'm not fully grasping what someone is saying. I like to be as clear as possible, and try to live in a judgment-free zone, so please feel free to also ask me anything back!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I want to be able to visit my friends in various locations around the US and the world, and just to travel in general. I have worked in hotels, and am generally a pretty respectful person, so I thought this would be a good way to accomplish my goals.

(Currently I can't accept guests at my home because I'm about to move in a few weeks, and my couch is horrendously uncomfortable. Hopefully I will be moving to a larger place and then can happily reciprocate!)

Intereses

I love the arts. I was trained to sing classically, and love pretty much all kinds of music. I love visual art, and performance art, graphic art, street art, etc...

I love to read and cook. I have to follow a strict diet due to allergies and some other health issues that I have, so being able to cook for myself has really come in handy.

Música, películas y libros

There are just too many to name. I love all types of music, the only one I could say i don't like is really bubblegum cookie cutter pop music (though I will admit it is catchy) and really twangy country. That's not to say I don't like some pop and some country, because I do. I also enjoy classical, folk, and cultural music (like traditional folk songs etc...)

I am more picky with books. Mostly fiction, I enjoy horror, suspense, fantasy, and science fiction. I also enjoy comic books (ElfQuest anyone?) and the ocassional biography.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One amazing thing I've done is fly a plane. It was a birthday gift from my father when I turned 16 and it was absolutely thrilling.

I can share my experiences, if need be I can share my cooking, and my humor. I love to chat and tell stories, but I can tell when someone isn't really into that sort of thing.
