ABOUT ME

I work hard, and I play hard! I love to get out and have new experiences! I get along well with others, and am accepting of folks that are different then me ('cause when it comes down to it, aren't we all diffferent?) I am friendly, clean, and considerate.

While I am active and enthusiastic participant in life, I also like to be chill and quiet at times. I am not an in-your-face overbearing type of guy, and will respect your space, both personal and living.

While I have gotten a bit of a late start on a traveling lifestyle (hence the mission statement!) I am really enjoying it. Meeting new people and experiencing how they live, even if very briefly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am travelling the world for work at the moment, I hope to be a surfer more then a host. And not just on couches, but I know that a lot of folks just meet up for a beer or whatnot as an introdution to their town, which also interests me! Once I quit this whole touring gig, I have a very comfy couch of my own waiting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to CouchSurfing by one of my best friends, and am very excited about it. My first CouchSurf was great, and can't wait to have more! I love to travel, meet new people, and see new things, so keep Surfing!

I am an entertainment professional, and as such am a big fan of theater/ live performance, music & concerts. I have been involved in over 200 stage productions, and seen well over that many concerts.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I am a huge audio-phile, and listen to a wide variety of music. Jam bands, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Classical, New Age, Classic Rock, Trip Hop, and Bluegrass are some of the genres on my hard drive, and I love to share! Going to see live music is one of my favorite activities, whether a local pub with a decent cover band or a stadium with a big-name headliner, if you know of something going on I am game!

I am also a big fan of movies, and especially enjoy seeing blockbusters on the big screen, such as Sci-fi, fantasy, action/ adventure, and thrillers. I am also a fan of monster movies (vampires, werewolves, zombies), comedies, and historical

I am a pretty avid reader as well. Tom Robbins and Christopher Moore are among my favorites, as well as historical fiction, but I am open to a wide variety of literature. I also try to keep abreast of what is going on in the world via weekly news magazines.

As a small-town boy from rural USA, I spent a week with a friend and her family at their reindeer-herding camp north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden!
