My name is Destiny and I am a social person who enjoys meeting new people. My hobbies include hiking (I summited Half Dome), running (I most recently completed the San Francisco Marathon) and gardening (Unfortunately I'm not good at it). I'm moving to Virginia from California in a few months and am looking forward to possibly hosting once I get settled in.

I recently rediscovered the Postal Service, Give Up never gets old. I just finished reading Little Fires Everywhere and am not sure that the miniseries Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon will do it justice. I believe the books are almost always better than the movie or tv adaptations.
