live and learn through experience.. only mother nature is no 1 in the world.. everyone is someone elses weirdo.. no matter who we are were all like lost little children trying to find our way in the universe, learning new lessons & experiences & taking different paths, sometimes our paths converging and sometimes not, but were always learning.. everything we do has some effect on the greater world around us-everything is connected..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i havnt couchsurfed through couchsurfing.com as yet but i lived in a flat a few years ago where we had a couple of surfers stay, we had a real cool Mexican stay for about a week who was cool to hangout with and share culture..

MUSIC: sooo much.. oldschool, newschool, Kiwi, international.. but i consistently listen to electronic, REAL hiphop, drum & bass, dub, reggae.. & Radiohead is probably my favourite band.. but i listen to lots of rock like tool, Queens of the stone age and some metal too.. yep.. i love music!

BOOKS: too many to mention but i like alot of books with a concious/philosophical theme, or true stories, or sometimes just good ole psychological thrillers like Dean Koontz.. but "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay is probably my all time favourite book ever since 10 years old..

MOVIES: generally like something challenging or funny or moving or dark and twisted.. oldschool 80s movies are cool too.. TV programmes i love UK humour & South Park, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Wire, Parks & Recreation, Always sunny in Philedelphia, lots! but i hate "reality tv" garbage.. in general though i dont watch much TV..

i wouldnt say its an amazing thing per se but i experienced an absolutely life changing experience through the devastating Christchurch, NZ earthquakes, was a pretty crazy experience il never ever forget, and one which taught me many things, namely to appreciate & not take things for granted cos you never know what might happen..
