Hello! I was born in Berkeley, California, grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and now live in Provo, Utah. From a family of six, I am the oldest of four daughters. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Social Studies Education and English as a Second Language in April of 2017. I now teach social studies and ESL at a junior high in Utah. Living the dream :)

Like many, I am someone who enjoys fun and new experiences. While I usually like to stick to a schedule, I am always open to spontaneous opportunities that often come while traveling. I love to wander around and experience a location and what it has to offer. I also crave the more hidden "treasures" of a city. While traveling, you won't find me at any bars, pubs, or raves; I enjoy living alcohol and drug free. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. I hope to make friends all around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. One of the subjects I teach at the junior high is 9th grade geography. I want to go anywhere and everywhere and inspire my students to get out and see the world. Being a teacher is a wonderful career, and as a member of the Couchsurfing community, I can enjoy authentic, cultural experiences while on a budget.
