Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I quit my job at a great architecture firm to pursue my own dreams. I am going to live in Cape Verde, the country my family came from, and explore a few other interesting/beautiful places along the way. I want to be a part of this couchsurfing community to enhance my experiences and make genuine connections around the world!

So many! A conversation is in order! Right now I'm reading a novel by Marlon James. The last movie I (re)watched was Selena and I was sad for days!! The last show I went to was Nas and Lauryn Hill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I raised over $1,700 on social media in 3 days and purchased supplies to be trucked to Houston, TX after hurricane Harvey. I couldn't believe how much people trusted me and how quickly thu funds were raised. People's sense of urgancy and compassion shook me to the core! It felt great!
