The state popularly known as Devbhumi (land of god's) ........if you want to explore Uttarakhand, here is Kumaon has the famous Jim Corbett National Park and Nainital (city of lakes ), mukhteshwar, sattal, naukuchiyatal, Almora, Ranikhet, Binsar, Munsiyari, and so many natural mountain places.

So find time for Kumaun in your plan to get to some very Less Touristy paradise equivalent areas for some quiet time in the mountains and numerous lakes and thus use my place as a stop and then head further to the mountains as my hometown is the last town before mountains start.
