ABOUT ME

My name is Devesh and I'm originally from New Delhi, India. I study Physics at the University of Hannover. I'm normally a pretty happy person, and love to laugh and make others smile as well. My interests are pretty diverse and I can talk about anything and everything( it might be mumbo-jumbo sometimes, but oh well!) Since I lived in a student dormitory for almost a year, I got to meet loads of people from different countries. Each conversation was so enriching that I decided that it would be a pretty great idea to be able to meet people from all over the world, and that too, in your own home. That's why I am here. Hopefully, I will be able to host soon.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is pretty simple: live and make everyone( including yourself) happy! :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't offer a place to stay right now, since I live in a place which houses students and the rooms are very tiny. But I'll be more than glad to hang out if someone wants to!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met someone through Couchsurfing in Amsterdam, and had a pretty good experience! That's all, I'm pretty much a newbie to couchsurfing! But, I would love to get to add to my experiences, so if you're in Hannover, feel free to drop me a line! :)

Interests

I love music( I can't stop once I've started talking about my favourites: you've been warned!).
History is pretty cool as well, as is anything related to science.
I'm not very well read, but I love having discussions about books. And anything related to human behaviour in general, I always have loads of questions!
Philosophy. Again, I'm not very well read but love to hear about stuff from other people and debate!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Indie, Rock and Pop music.
Books, I've started reading a bit of Buddhist philosophy which interests me quite a lot. And Robert Frost too, he's a great poet!
Not a very big fan of movies, but my favourites are Dead Poets Society and Wings of Desire(originally 'Der Himmel über Berlin')

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've discovered that the most simple moments are the most amazing ones, so basically everything is amazing for me. But what I find very significant is my stay in Germany, I've been living here for more than a year now and every day is a challenge: there's always something to learn. It's been amazing so far :D

I don't have a lot to offer: but might be able to tell you something about how life is like in India.
