What better way to experience a new city then to stay with a local? Want to meet and make new friends in a new location as well as learn all about the place they call home. I've couch surfed twice before but alas it was with a friend so no references for me!

I'm always moving through music but at the moment Tame Impala, Goat, Glass Animals, and Anderson Paak are all on heavy repeat. Currently reading "The Invention of Nature", but I'm typically reading nonfiction research on sustainability or science fiction. "The Monkey Wrench Gang", " Poisonwood Bible" and " The Moor's Account" all earn high praise from me! I've never seem to keep track of favorite movies but just like my literature choices I'm either all about a serious documentary or Star Trek.

A few years ago my dad and I handbuilt a wooden kayak together. Endless hours and inevitable screw ups eventually led to a beautiful kayak that slices through the water. Definitely a great memory due to lots of hard work.

I have SO MANY spotify playlists for just about every mood or activity and I'm always updating them. New indie music that got released a few days ago, classic hip hop, something to bike to in a large group, while skiing, when doing mindless chores at home, I have a playlist for them all. I also love talking politics, climate change, science, how awful Trump is a a presidential candidate.
